The Sweet Little CulpritMy sweet 3 1/2 year old son was eating a pomegranate the other night. While I was out of the room he was inspired to stick a pomegranate seed up his little nose. When he told his father and I, I wasn’t quite sure to believe him or not. But he was certain it was up there. We tried to get him to blow his nose- nothing came out. Later, we got out the headlamp and sure enough a pomegranate seed was lodged in his nose way up at the top- sealing his nose closed. With a bobby pin we gently removed it. And then carefully went over the fact that we do not put anything at all up our noses.

Note: I read online that if you cannot see the object, you need to go to the doctor. There is concern of infection if it is not removed rather promptly.
