Mix in bowl or blender:

1 1/2 c buttermilk

2 T coconut oil melted or EVOO

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

-let stand over night on the counter-

Add in the morning:

1 egg

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

-Blend or mix-

Cook in your waffle pan or as pancakes.

Note: this only makes 2- 4 square Belgium waffles so double if needed.
