Diligence = “conscientiousness in paying proper attention to a task; giving the degree of care required in a given situation”

God has placed me in the role of mother to three wonderful children, wife, and caretaker of my home. Sounds so fluffy and sweet on paper- and it is in many ways, but it is also a busy, full role if it is to be done completely. God calls us to be diligent in the “work” he has called us to perform. He also calls us to be diligent in our faith and walk with Him.

As a mother I find the call to diligence to be very clear:

Prov 31:17:  ”She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.”

Prov 31:27: “She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.”

God has entrusted me with my family and my home and, it is my job to diligently fill this role.

So, why Whole Diligence? I want to wholly be diligent in the food I provide my family with, in the way I care and love my family, in my walk with Christ… and wholly committed to improvement, completely aware that I need to grow in all these areas.

That is my overall goal: whole diligence in what God has entrusted me with. Diligence in every area of my life.
